It is located nearby Miyagawa Kaburenjo Theater, the most famous Hanamachi street in Kyoto from the Edo era to the present. It is also one of the scenic spots of 《Memoirs of geisha》.

The space

The house has 2 bedrooms: one with tatami flooring for traditional Japanese futon bedding, one with wood flooring and two western-style beds, and one with garden view tatami flooring.
The total area is 76 square meters. Up to 4 people can fit in the house.

Guest access

One bathroom with bathtub (looking out into the Japanese garden; perfect for long soaks after a long day of walking) and two toilets.
Provide cooking utensils and tableware, guests can buy foods and seasonings to cook by themselves.

Additional Rules

1. No Smoking In the room, outside by the door, or in the garden or courtyard.

2. Please carry the luggage instead of dragging. Please keep quiet in the room, specially at night.

3. Please Turn off the power, when you go outside.

4. Please take off your shoes when you get inside the room.

5. According to local regulations, please leave all the garbage inside, by the door. Our cleaning staff will come to collect every 2-3 days.

6. Please eat and drink in the dining area. Please do not eat on tatami.

7. Please do not dry the clothes in the garden or courtyard.

8. Please try not to move the furniture. Please put them back after using.

9. Please do not use the linens and other supplies in the cupboards, which are prepared for the next guests.

10. Please do not step on the moss when you entering the garden.
