The space

The house has 3 bedrooms: one with tatami flooring for traditional Japanese futon bedding, one with tatami flooring and one double-size bed, and one with garden view tatami flooring. The total area is 70 square meters.

Guest access

Separate bathtub (looking out into the Japanese garden; perfect for long soaks after a long day of walking) and toilet on the both floors.

Our guesthouse is perfectly situated in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, making it an ideal base for exploring the city's top attractions.

Easy Access:

Just a 10-minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station

Getting There:

Step 1:
Take bus No. 206 from Kyoto Station to Kiyomizu-do Bus Stop (approximately 12 minutes, 8 stops).

Step 2:
From Kiyomizu-do Bus Stop, it's a short 4-minute walk to the guesthouse.

Notes :

This is a full house rental that is entirely private to the guests : ) There are no other guests sharing the house.
With extra futons, up to 6 people can fit in the house.

You’ll be staying in someone’s home, so please treat it with care and respect.

Checking in and out

– Check-in after 4:00 pm

– Checkout before 10:00 am

– Self check-in with keypad

During your stay

– 6 guests maximum

– No pets

– Quiet hours (10:00 pm – 8:00 am)

– No parties or events

– No commercial photography

– No smoking

Additional Rules

1. No Smoking In the room, outside by the door, or in the garden or courtyard.

2. Please carry the luggage instead of dragging. Please keep quiet in the room, specially at night.

3. Please Turn off the power, when you go outside.

4. Please take off your shoes when you get inside the room.

5. According to local regulations, please leave all the garbage inside, by the door. Our cleaning staff will come to collect every 2-3 days.

6. Please eat and drink in the dining area. Please do not eat on tatami.

7. Please do not dry the clothes in the garden or courtyard.

8. Please try not to move the furniture. Please put them back after using.

9. Please do not use the linens and other supplies in the cupboards, which are prepared for the next guests.

10. Please do not step on the moss when you entering the garden.
